Are an excellent way to do something you enjoy or achieve a personal goal whilst raising money - and the options are endless! If you're taking part (or thinking about it) in an event, such as the London Marathon, why not use it as an opportunity to raise money for Life Education Dorset? Local  groups organise swimathons, fun runs and cycle races – could you get a team together to participate?

Why not fulfill that ambition of a lifetime and do a sponsored parachute jump?

If you'd like to enter an event and raise money, please contact us. We can provide details of activites in your area and personalise sponsor forms. If none of the planned activities take your fancy, you could always organise your own! You can also, download our 'Hints & Tips'leaflet for ideas on ways to boost your sponsorship.

Guess the Name of Harold’s Cousin
A fun and easy way to raise funds at your workplace, club or event. We supply you with a poster containing 30 names and a cuddly giraffe. You sell the names for £1 per go.  When all the names have been sold, remove the sticker to reveal the winning name. Deliver the giraffe to the lucky winner and send us a cheque for £30. Please contact us if you think you could find a home for one of Harold’s cuddly cousins!

Badge Boxes & Collecting Tubs
We are looking for places to site our ‘Harold’ lapel badge boxes and collecting tubs and for people to look after them when in situ, topping up the badges and ensuring that any money is forwarded to us or banked. Please contact us if you think you, your school or company may be able to help.

Spread the Word
People may have heard about ‘Harold the Giraffe’ and Life Education, but they may not know exactly what we do or that we are a charity.  Please spend a few minutes telling your friends, family, colleagues and fellow parents about the vital work we do and that, as a charity, we need their help to ensure that we can continue to help children make healthy choices – or just give them our website address!
