Through the Gift Aid Scheme Life Education Dorset (LED) can claim an extra 28% on donations and sponsorship from the Inland Revenue. In order for us to be able to do this the following conditions must be met:

• Individuals only are eligible (not companies)
• Donors must be UK taxpayers & pay an amount of income tax at least equal to the amount we will reclaim on the donation
• Donors must provide their full name and home address (not workplace) including post code
• Donors must tick the Gift Aid box
• In the case of sponsorship, LED must retain the original sponsor form

It may take a few moments to complete the forms, but every £100 gift aided is worth £128 to us. Gift Aid is the easiest way to increase the value of your gift, without it costing you a penny extra! The Taxman won’t refund money to taxpayers, but he will give it to us and we will put it to very good use!
